BRADY ERVIN PENNED HIS OWN THOUGHTS ABOUT what it’s like to play for the 04 Velocity Boys at Redoubt. “As a new player for Redoubt, at first, it was a little tough transitioning, but I was quickly welcomed by my fantastic teammates. The coaches at Redoubt help you develop chemistry by teaching you to trust one another. In practice, my coaches say, ’If you don’t challenge yourself during practice, you will not make any progress.’ They always tell us to work hard and make good mental decisions. My team challenges me every week we play by helping me on all aspects of the game such as ball control, shooting, speed, and, like always, working hard. The thing I enjoy most about playing as midfielder is being able to be on offense and defense which enables you to provide assistance all over the playing field. I love a lot of things about soccer, but when it really comes down to it the things I love most are the friends you make and the enjoyment you feel when you are playing.” Coach Nick Odeny adds, “He has good technical skills and despite his size, has a lot of fight. He is very adaptable and has great attitude!”
