Girls team since the team was established, according to head coach Matthew Morgan. “Kaylee has led her team in scoring for the past two seasons. In the fall 2016 State League season, she led the team in scoring with 10 goals, and led the team in assists with eight at the Striker position. She also plays as a midfielder,” he enthuses. In addition, Kaylee also led her middle school team, Covenant Christian Academy (CCA), in scoring with eight goals in the spring 2017 season. As a seventh-grader this past spring, she also had the opportunity to play on the high school soccer team
with Covenant Christian Academy (CCA), Morgan adds. Kaylee has been involved with the Elite Payer Development (EPD) Program with Alabama Soccer Association (ASA) and also trains at the NOW Soccer Academy in Huntsville. Morgan sums up what the youngster brings to the team. “Kaylee has developed her foot and ball control skills over the last two years, and that helps her to be able to put herself in the position for more goal scoring opportunities. Her skill at ball distribution also contributes to getting the ball to her teammates, giving them opportunities for more goal scoring opportunities as well.”
