Gaucho Pinho’s team for the past seven years. “Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching Ryan and have seen him improve the most; developing into a respected, confident and leading player on the field.” Ryan assists in directing the field and is quick to defend the goal. “Ryan is always willing to do what’s best for the team, has a strong work ethic, and is dedicated to becoming the best soccer player that he can. I attribute a lot of his successes to his work ethic, dedication, love of the sport, and to his supportive family and team. As a club director and as Ryan’s coach, it’s important to support our players and develop them to their full potential,” Coach Gaucho says. “Ryan is a team player with strong values and good character who enjoys challenges.” This, in addition to his leadership skill, has helped with the chemistry on a very technical team. Ryan realized quickly that competitive soccer is not an individual sport; it’s a sport that relies heavily on the chemistry of the team. He and his teammates realize playing at this level requires training year-round and preparing for competitions that include Regional and National League games and Championships. Due to this commitment, 99B Premier has competed in the US Youth Soccer National Championships for four consecutive years, qualified for the Region III Championships for five consecutive years, and became the Georgia State Cup Champions three times. Ryan considers his coach and teammates an extension of his family. He started playing soccer at the age of three, has the ball at his feet almost every day, and watches professional games in any free time that he has.
