Lanier Soccer Association U18 Girls CF/winger Skylar Abbott is a co-captain whose goal scoring makes her very valuable to the team, according to head coach Avram Allen. Skylar has been playing soccer since she was three years old, and scoring isn’t the only contribution she makes to the team’s success.
joy to be around. She does a fantastic job leading by example — never misses practice, respectful, and she is always ready to compete,” Allen says. “Every game she leaves it all on the field. Players can count on her to do her part for the team.” Among Skylar’s accomplishments are LSA Select player of the 2016, Club teams scoring leader eight seasons in a row, and cocaptain. Allen says she would like to continue playing soccer through college, while preparing for a career in sports medicine. In addition to soccer, Skylar likes snowboarding, wake boarding and eating. “Skylar is a special talent. She is one of the captains of this team. She has led her team in scoring every season for the past eight
seasons. Skylar just came off an outstanding 2016 campaign earning all-region honors at Chestatee High School,” Allen says proudly.
