TOGETHER SINCE 2016, THE HUNTER’S Creek 08 Boys Elite squad have quickly become one of the top teams in the area. In the fall of 2016, the boys had a strong fall season in the GCF league, topping the season off with a winners trophy from the Alliance Cup tournament in Orlando. At the time of this writing, the 08 boys were traveling to Naples to compete in the Adidas Spring Cup Classic against some of the best elite teams in Florida. The team’s coach, David Mcneil, says the team has worked extremely hard to improve their individual ball skills, but are also working well together and developed a great team chemistry, one of the keys to the team’s success. “Over the course of this and last season, we have taken our strong 1v1 skills to build into 2v2s and 3v3s,” McNeil says. “We have been working hard on the training ground on our possession-styled game to Back row, from left: Coach David Mcneil, Mason Exantus, Cooper Tintle, Michaelangelo Polo, Leonardo Torres, Mark Tamer, Diego Escobedo.
