TUSCALOOSA UNITED IS A SOCCER CLUB THAT ORCHESTRATES more as a family unit than a team, and for the 06 boys team that is taken one step further by brothers Austin and Andrew Hemstreet. Both boys are eager to learn the sport and are willing to play wherever the coach asks them to, which makes their coach Mike Bissell a bit more relaxed knowing he has them to rely on come gameday selection. “Each of the boys has been playing since they could stand, having attended camps from a very young age,” Coach Bissell said. “Andrew and Austin are hardworking and dedicated to growth and excellence.” The boys play for the combined team of the 06 and 07 team that Tuscaloosa United had last year that this year merged together to form one team. Rather than having a transitional period, the boys have helped lead their team to success in the past season, winning the Tupelo Invitational with their team. They bring their off-field understanding of one another to AUSTIN HEMSTREET the pitch, which helps the team’s overall communication and unity.
