Five years ago this magazine went quiet. The archive stayed on a shelf, the domain stayed in the family, and youth soccer kept doing what it always does — producing stories nobody wrote down.

That ends today. Upper 90 is back, and it's back during the biggest soccer summer this country has ever seen. The World Cup is being played on American soil right now. Millions of kids watched a match this week and then went outside to hit the upper 90 themselves. Somebody should be covering what happens next in their soccer lives.

Here's the new deal:

The Vault is open. We're republishing the best of our 2016–2018 print run — club features, Coaches Corner, player spotlights — one story at a time.

You write the game now. The biggest change: clubs, coaches, and team managers can submit stories directly. Tournament runs, player milestones, the coach who changed everything. Our editors review and polish every piece, then it publishes with your club's name on it. Coverage is free. It always will be.

The 90th Minute. Our newsletter delivers the best of it to your inbox. Get on the list.

The upper 90 is the corner keepers can't reach. That's still where we're aiming.
