MOBILE UNITED FUTBOL CLUB (MUFC), FOLLOWING A trend among other clubs around the country, came together through the merger of three smaller clubs — AC Mobile, Mobile Ultimate, and Mobile United. The club emerged around the same time another Mobile club, Mobile Soccer Club, folded, creating a void for the newly founded MUFC to fill. MUFC is now the largest competitive club in the area, RUBEN RISCO fielding competitive teams in the Regional Premier League, Director of Coaching State League, Showcase tournaments, as well as local and NSCAA DOC Diploma regional leagues and tournaments. USSF “D” License Among its changes in 2010, the club instituted a player development NSCAA National Diploma NSCAA High School Diploma philosophy. New Director of Coaching Ruben Risco says getting everyone acquainted with the philosophy has been a challenge as new DOC.
