SSA SAVANNAH UNITED REBRANDED WITH ITS NEW NAME WITHIN THE LAST FIVE YEARS. HOWEVER, regardless of the name of the club, SSA Savannah has been on the forefront of soccer development since the club’s founding in 1992. The club is also under the Southern Soccer Academy umbrella, making SSA Savannah the largest youth soccer club in the area with more than 2,200 clubs participating in recreational and competitive soccer each year. The club also has more than 130 volunteer coaches, 35 licensed staff coaches and teams have scored close to 30,000 goals. Wright says players now have opportunities for growth and exciting soccer adventures, such as tougher competition in club play, access to major showcases and tournaments and international soccer adventures. “Our partnership with them, alongside with our development club Chelsea Football Club in England,
