Coach Joey Syfert says that really sums up what this team is all about. “Jeremiah’s constantly looking to help his teammates however he can, whether he’s on the field or off it.” Deke Cateau, Jeremiah’s father, says his son’s favorite part of soccer is assisting his teammates and dribbling, and that one day he’d like to coach. “His work rate is top notch in training and he never gives up on the field, regardless of the situation,” Syfert says. “He has wonderful technical ability and he puts it on display every time he steps on the field. His passing and dribbling abilities have put him on ATL United’s radar and he truly is one to keep an eye on.” Jeremiah’s favorite international player is Neymar, and Barcelona is his favorite club. Jeremiah is also a budding basketball player, a point guard who loves crossing up the opposition every chance he gets.
