high level in Tennessee State League, and yet not have to travel every weekend. Other than Tennessee State League games, the club avoids unnecessary travel and tournaments, particularly below U16. Coach Davidson says the girls’ training is challenging but also fun. They have a great balance of knowing how and when to push each other to get better, and how to do that while supporting each other in a positive way. So far this season, the 01 Girls Maroon are going from strength to strength, and watching them grow as a team on and off the field really embodies what soccer is all about.
