COOPER FAIN COOPER FAIN HAS PLAYED MANY DIFFERENT SPORTS, BUT HIS PASSION IS FOR soccer — a passion which began when he first started playing at the age of three. He plays center mid on the 05 Auburn Thunder team. Coach Rod Goines says “Cooper is very coachable and works hard to find ways to improve. He has great field vision that he uses in his decision-making. His competitive nature and energy level help him to control the pace of the game. Cooper is a special player and a great kid. He is fun to coach and fun to watch.” Goines says Cooper displays a confident set of foot skills and a soft first touch, and actively pursues ways to gain and maintain possession to create scoring opportunities by communicating and accurate passing. “He leads by example,” Goines adds. “He is focused and always seeks ways to improve his skills. Cooper challenges his team to be at their best while giving them the confidence to succeed. Cooper has a selfless attitude. He cares more about the team doing well, rather than his individual performance.”
