05 BOYS THE AUBURN THUNDER 2005 BOYS TEAM is starting its third year together under Coach Rod Goines. They have come together well, developing a possession-styled attack in which they use their team shape to attack open space with accurate passing. Goines says they are actively seeking numbers-up situations to create scoring opportunities. “They love playing together and are excited about learning new things,” Goines says. “They understand how their individual improvements fit into our team goals. Every time they step on the field, their purpose is to play better than they did the last time. They are aware that all of their hard work now will pay off in the future.” According to their coach, they are a close group that has fun on and off the field. “They are all good players and great kids “I am very proud of this team and their who support and challenge each other.
