On a team with many talented players, one athlete on Orlando City's 2005 Boy's Pre ENCL team stands out - Nick Campbell. A 13-year old with boatloads of natural talent and a tremendous work ethic, Calo says that Campbell also has one additional but vitally important trait: versatility. In fact, Calo played Campbell in all 11 positions last seasons and could rely on him to seamlessly adjust to the needs and responsibilities of each role. "I can literally put him anywhere and I that I no longer have to worry about that spot," Calo says. "I know that I'm going to get what I need in that one spot, and then I just have to worry about the other ten." Calo also says Campbell is a natural leader who gets the most of out his teammates during matches, but also in practice. "One thing I can always count on him for is we're always going to have energy at training," Calo says. While Calo understands his other players have other priorities with school, family life, etc., Campbell, he says, is the one player he can count on to make sure his teammates are in the right frame of mind during practice, allowing him to focus on coaching soccer. "Nick's going to be the one to make sure everyone is focused when they have to be, he's going to be the one to make it light when everyone is playing a little tense, and he's going to be the one to make it more dedicated because the other kids are being too loose or funny at practice," Calo says. "He's really good at controlling the psyche of the team."
