Orlando City Youth Soccer
A youth development club of the Orlando City SC of MLS, Orlando City Youth Soccer Club is one of the premier youth soccer programs in the area. A 501C-3 not for profit organization, Orlando City is one of the few soccer clubs in the state of Florida that privately owns its facilities, The Seminole Soccer Complex, and is maintained by its members. The Seminole Soccer Complex is the home of Orlando City Youth Soccer. Privately owned by the youth club, the modern soccer complex has served the local youth soccer community since the 1970's. Led by Executive Director Laura Halfpenny and Technical Director, Paul Shaw. Orlando City Youth Soccer has put together a strong technical and front office staff to support the club's growth, develop players, and set a high standard of play. The club offers an array of programs for youth players at all stages of development and personal goals, including Little Lions for players ages 4-7, recreational and community soccer for players 8-18, and high-level competitive play also for kids ages 8-19. The objective of the Orlando City Youth Partner and Youth Affiliate Program is to create a network of Clubs supported by the technical curriculum and youth development practices of the Orlando City MLS professional team. Clubs within the network benefit technically, have a structured pathway to the Pros for their members as well as benefiting from the brand recognition of the Orlando City Soccer Club. There are two relationship categories: Development Academy Partners – Academy Clubs in our MLS Territory with a track record of producing MLS Homegrown Talent. These Clubs retain their own branding, Affiliate Clubs – Clubs wanting to be a long-term, multiple-year partner wearing the Orlando City patch and/or uniforms with full access to the Orlando City Coaching curriculum.
